Handcrafting furniture has a timeless quality but in today's world it is a vanishing craft. Generic factory produced furniture is everywhere and is inexpensive. However furniture can be more than a utilitarian assembly of wood. It can be art first and functional second. It can be unique, one of a kind. Something to remember and make a house a home. Something made just for you, not for everyone.

My goal is to create a piece of art that can't be found anywhere else. An original. I design and make each piece in my shop in Bellingham, Washington.

I am also a photographer. My subject is the Northwest landscape both large and small. I enjoy taking a closer look at the landscape, wildlife and the environment. The "Inner Landscapes".
